The streets with the greatest urgency will be the first to be worked on, and as the resources arrive, progress will be made on the others, according to information provided by the mayor of Jocotepec, during the nineteenth ordinary session of the City Council, held on August 25.
Councillors questioned the urgency with which the work is to be done, considering that the current administration will leave power on October 1, although the mayor said that, with the resources, the work could be done in up to a week.
The mayor assured that allocating resources one month before a new administration takes office will not affect the new president who takes office on October 1.
The over 6.833 million pesos approved are for the fiscal year 2024.
