Municipal police officers from Tepatitlán, Jalisco, fled from a shooting on Avenida Luis Donaldo Colosio, which was recorded in a video that a resident later published on social networks.
A closed road with vehicles can be seen, and some firearm detonations are heard on the video. A municipal police patrol car appears, and a woman yells to them that there have been detonations.
However, instead of going to the site to seek order, the policemen made a u-turn, and appeared to flee.
Authorities said that, after the attack, a vehicle with bullet holes was found, and a person had disappeared.
Nothing has been reported about the officers that fled.
